On a walking tour through the city, learn how the Reformation continues to shape life in Zurich to this day. Discover churches and bars as central meeting places and venues for reflection and culture.
The tour starts at Lindenhof, where you will get your first glimpse of Zurich's Old Town, the Limmat River, and the lake. Your guide is Swiss, studied history in Zurich, has worked in the city, and is herself passionate about this wonderful place.

As you make your way through the Old Town, you will learn interesting facts about its history and fascinating stories about the people who have lived in Zurich and continue to shape it to this day. First and foremost is the Reformer Zwingli, who preached in Grossmünster Church and played a key role in initiating and spreading the reforms of the Church.

In the Wasserkirche, in front of the Martyrs' Stone, some people may feel a chill run down their spine when they consider that Zurich's patron saints Felix and Regula were beheaded here.

The Storchen Bar, the Odeon Bar, and the Kronenhalle are long-established Zurich establishments and unique venues for socializing and culture. Many of the patrons have made history themselves. However, in typical Swiss fashion, discretion is maintained. Nevertheless, a few anecdotes have made it out into the public domain, and you will hear them on the tour.
The tour concludes at the Bodega Bar in Niederdorf, another place of social interaction and culture.

You will gain insight into the spirit of this wonderful city, which was shaped by the Reformation, and you will follow in the footsteps of powerful figures: Charlemagne, the reformer Zwingli, and Fraumünster Abbess Katharina von Zimmern. You will experience the spirit of bygone eras, which remains alive to this day.

This is the Standard Option. It lasts approximately 90 minutes, with a maximum of 10 people.

The Premium option lasts around 2.5 hours and also includes a visit to Fraumünster Church, with its Chagall windows, as well as a visit to the Storchen Bar or the Odeon Bar; max. 8 people.
