Finland

As with any country, Finland has plenty to do, taste food, and visit sights. Plan your trip with our list of top attractions and places to visit in Finland. There is a lot to do in Finland, but one of the best ways to see Finland is by renting a car and exploring its wildlife. When it comes to the countryside, Finland is a huge fan of visiting. When people think of Finland, they think of the majestic forests and breath-taking natural landscapes you will all find here, but if you are into urban sprawl, you can still spend time in charming big cities like Helsinki and Turku. The capital of Finland is the largest city in Finland and, of course, a beautiful place to find examples of beautiful Finnish architecture. If you are visiting the capital Helsinki for the first time, be sure to stop at the National Museum of Finland (with Finnish history and prehistoric collections), relax on Hietaranta Beach, and take the ferry to Suomenlinna Fortress. Do not miss a visit to Suomenlinna (meaning "Fortress of Finland"), a star-shaped sea fortress. Finland is a wonderful place to visit if you want to see the Northern Lights, and winter is the best time to see the Northern Lights. If you have always wanted to see the Northern Lights, also known as the Northern Lights, you can look for the Northern Lights in northern Finland. For a better view of the Northern Lights in Finland, head to Lapland. Reindeer are another thing Finland is famous for and can be seen everywhere in Lapland. In southern Finland, there are places like Helsinki Zoo or the Reindeer Park in Nuuksio National Park where reindeer can be seen. You will find that the northern city of Rovaniemi offers many snowmobile tours (see the list here), but you can rent a snowmobile or take a snowmobile tour anywhere in Finland where there is a lot of snow. The thing is, you have some amazing Finnish cities and towns to visit, but also dream destinations like Lapland and the hundreds of islands that line its shores. It would be a shame to visit Finland without looking at their famous covered markets, or as they call them "kauppahalli", their famous covered markets. Although there are only 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Finland, they are worth a visit. If you enjoy skiing, you will enjoy the wide range of ski resorts scattered throughout Finland, and during the summer months you will enjoy milder weather ideal for hiking and cycling. If you love nature, outdoor activities, pleasant weather, great people, foraging, forests, hanging out with friends, delicious food, small crowds, and beautiful scenery, then there is plenty to do in Finland. All adventures and recreation are waiting for you in Finland.
