Next, drive for approximately 40 minutes to Daxu Ancient Town, a beautifully preserved riverside town with over 600 years of history. Once a bustling waterborne marketplace and thriving shipping hub for Guilin, Daxu is home to well-preserved Qing-dynasty architecture—including traditional herbal medicine shops, distilleries, and ancient stone bridges. After exploring the town at your own pace, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant nearby (lunch is not included in the package).

In the afternoon, head to Yao Mountain Scenic Area, the highest peak within Guilin’s urban area. Take a scenic cable car ride to the summit, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of Guilin’s famed karst landscape and the city below. After ample time to soak in the vistas, descend via cable car and return to downtown Guilin. Depending on the day’s schedule, enjoy approximately one hour of free time—ideal for a relaxed stroll along the vibrant city center pedestrian street or for finding your own dinner spot.

As the day winds down, board an air-conditioned cruise boat for a serene evening tour of Guilin’s Four Lakes—a magical journey through illuminated bridges, pavilions, and shimmering waters reflecting the city’s enchanting night lights.

At the conclusion of the cruise, your guide and driver will safely escort you back to your hotel in downtown Guilin.
