Begin your journey with a visit to the Shangri-La Scenic Area, also known as Shiwai Taoyuan. Inspired by the classic Chinese story "The Peach Blossom Spring," this scenic attraction blends waterways, fields, village-style architecture, karst hills, and cultural displays. Follow the standard visitor route, including a sightseeing boat ride across calm water and a walking visit through the landscaped cultural area.
Continue to the Yulong River Scenic Area, where green hills, bamboo, rice fields, old bridges, and villages frame one of Yangshuo’s best-loved river landscapes. Board an officially operated bamboo-style sightseeing raft on the route confirmed for your booking. Sit back, wear the supplied life jacket, and enjoy the slower, close-to-the-water view of Yangshuo’s countryside.
The standard daily option uses the regular Yulong River rafting route and normally returns to Yangshuo in approximately 4.5 to 5.5 hours. Every Saturday, travelers may choose the special Jinlong Bridge River Rafting option. This is a substantially longer river journey that begins at Jinlong Bridge and follows an extended section of the Yulong River. It returns to Yangshuo later than the standard half-day option, typically in the late afternoon or early evening. The exact route, operating status, and final return time depend on water conditions, pier operations, and official safety controls.
On selected weekends and public holidays, this tour includes a stop near Jinlong Bridge to watch the spectacular Golden Dragon on the Yulong River (when operating). As night falls, hundreds of illuminated bamboo rafts drift along the river, creating the appearance of a glowing golden dragon winding through the valley. Guests view and photograph this unique performance from the riverside viewing area rather than riding the bamboo rafts, offering a wider panoramic perspective and excellent photography opportunities.

The Saturday Jinlong Bridge experience operates only when the relevant pier, rafting route, water conditions, and official safety requirements permit it. It may have a minimum number of rafts or passengers required to operate.
If the Saturday Jinlong Bridge journey is canceled, unavailable, shortened, or altered for weather, water level, government safety controls, pier operations, or other reasons beyond the provider’s control, you can get full refund.
Choose this option if you prefer to travel independently. Electronic tickets for Shangri-La Scenic Area (Shiwai Taoyuan) and Yulong River Bamboo Raft are included, but transportation, a driver, and a guide are not included. Make your own way to the attractions by taxi, ride-hailing service, or a legally rented electric scooter, and explore each attraction independently.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
