Description

Let's take a walk around Graz! We'll see the beautiful sights. I'm also here for you, to keep you company, to listen to you.
My name is David. I speak English, French, and German. I'm an experienced guide and a good listener.

We'll explore the historic city centre together. It's a bit off the tourist map, but it's very beautiful. It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It will inspire you.

Graz is like a wedding cake, with three easily accessible layers:

First there's the Ground Floor, with the river, the mediaeval centre, the shops, the markets and the public buildings...

Then there's the First Floor, with the cathedral, the renaissance buildings and the former Habsburg palace...

And finally, there's the Second Floor: the city's stronghold, at the top of the hill, with its magnificent views over the city and the surrounding hills and mountains...

It's all walkable, and it's gorgeous. You'll be amazed!

We'll open doors, and go inside to take a look. There are amazing rooms to visit, and the views from the top of the hill are stunning. I'll also show you the things that make Graz one of the most liveable cities in Europe.

If you want to see this, or that, or spend more time in a particular spot: I'm open to requests. The whole point of this tour is for you to spend time with someone who is there, for you, who's only mission is to make you feel good about being in Graz. So, why not fight off the winter blues by hiring someone to guide you and filling your eyes with the lovely sights of this calm and pleasant place.
