The BEAR FOREST Arbesbach is a rescue center run by the animal welfare organization FOUR PAWS for bears in need. Here, bears from inadequate living conditions find a new home that is suitable for animals. Nestled in the pristine landscape of the Waldviertel region, the BEAR FOREST offers a completely new way of observing animals. The park is located in the unspoiled natural landscape of Arbesbach-Schönfeld in Lower Austria's Waldviertel region. The facility is divided into several enclosures. Here, the bears can engage in their natural behaviors: bathing, digging, roaming, climbing, and retreating into caves. Currently, four brown bears live here on a total of 24,000 square meters.
