Here's how family canyoning in the Almbachklamm works:
We'll meet right at the Almbachklamm parking lot. This way, you save time – no base camp, no extra stop. Your guide Paul will come by bus (mobile camp) and bring all the gear with him. You'll change into your gear on site: you'll get a high-quality wetsuit, neoprene socks, helmet, and harness; if needed, you can also rent shoes (sports shoes for free or professional canyoning shoes for a small fee).
Before we start, there's a safety briefing. Don't worry: you'll get step-by-step guidance during the tour, like how to make a jump work smoothly. No long hike, we're in the water almost right away Great for kids 9 and up and anyone who doesn't feel like a long hike.
In the gorge, you'll find emerald green pools, waterfalls, natural slides, and – if you like – optional jumps up to about 8 m. Everything's optional, and there are always alternative routes. Your guide adjusts the route and pace to your level, and the small group leaves room for breaks, questions, and favorite spots that you can do twice if you like.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
