In this beautiful setting of the Herzegovina wine route point in Mostar - VIA VINO, you will have the opportunity to taste three local premium wines - Žilavka, Blatina and Trnjak.
The Wine Class is both informative and fun. In just an hour, you will learn a lot of interesting facts about Herzegovina wine, and taste some of Herzegovina finest drops.
You will try 3 different wines from the Herzegovina region, autochthonous Žilavka, Blatina and Trnjak varieties from local producers. Your host will explain the hierarchy of Herzegovina wines and advise you of names you should be looking for when you select your own bottle. He will also introduce you to the characteristics of each of the served wines and teach you how to use all of the senses to fully appreciate their taste.
You will find out what kind of rich taste adorns them and why they have been called Imperial wines throughout history.
Wine has a rich cultural heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina. With roots dating back to Roman times, it plays a significant role in the country's traditions. Today, Bosnian wine is experiencing a resurgence, gaining recognition for its unique flavors and contributing to the country's viticultural heritage.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
