From Zell am See: Private Salzburg Old Town Day Trip

Then, enjoy a guided walk through Salzburg's Old Town with your guide. See Getreidegasse with its wrought-iron shop signs, Mozart's Birthplace, Salzburg Cathedral, and Residenzplatz. Learn about Mozart and the prince-archbishops as you explore the UNESCO World Heritage Old Town.

After your guided tour, enjoy 2 hours of free time in the Old Town. Have lunch in a traditional Austrian restaurant or coffee house, take an optional funicular to Hohensalzburg Fortress (ticket not included), or go shopping. Your guide will recommend the best places to visit.

From late November to the end of December, visit the famous Christkindlmarkt on Cathedral and Residenz squares, a perfect winter day away from the ski slopes. Because the trip is private, timing is flexible.
