Keep in mind you have to travel from Sofia to the monastery in Rila, which take around 3,5 hours by bus and 2,5 hours by car! The Cave of St. Ivan Rilski is a sacred place to visit and its only a very nice walk away - 3,4 km!
PLEASE PLAN YOUR TRIP AT LEAST A WEEK IN ADVANCE AND DON'T DO LAST MINUTE RESERVATIONS TO AVOID ISSUES AND PROBLEMS!

- We will organize a special private room for you and your friends so you can experience once in a life time opportunity to sleep in the monastery in the middle of Rila mountain!
- Check-in time is between 14:00 and 18:30 for the Monastery (they have a break between 16:00 and 18:00)!
- Keep in mind there is a curfew and the Monastery closes gates between 21:00 till 6:30am, so you can't go in or out during this time and you have keep silence at night. Check-out is till 11:00am.
- At night time is usually cold (there is heating in the room only winter) so be well dressed :).
- There are restaurants nearby as well and there is paid parking in front of the Monastery! Its advisable to buy food and drinks in advance before you arrive!

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
