Experience Armenia’s night sky like never before on a stargazing adventure by Lake Sevan. Your journey begins in Yerevan at 3:00 or 4:00 PM, where you’ll depart for the tranquil Vishap Shore of Lake Sevan—one of Armenia’s darkest and most beautiful stargazing locations, just two hours away. When you arrive, telescopes will be set up and ready for you to explore the night sky.

As the sun sets, your experience officially begins. Led by expert astronomer-guides, you’ll observe visible space objects through high-powered telescopes—including smart, modern devices that display celestial bodies in full color and detail. Throughout the evening, you’ll spot planets, stars, moons, and galaxies that shift with the season and the sky. Around the campfire, sip herbal tea or coffee and enjoy simple treats like roasted potatoes, marshmallows, and sweets. Between observations, enjoy relaxed science talks with astronomers, ask questions, and take in the peaceful mountain air. A photographer will capture your nighttime memories with professional-quality night portraits.

This immersive experience takes place in a naturally dark area with minimal light pollution, making it ideal for stargazing. To ensure the best possible views, tours are weather-dependent: two days before the tour, you'll receive confirmation if the skies are clear. If the tour is postponed due to cloud cover, your ticket remains valid for one year, and you'll receive priority notice when new dates open. This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
