Description

The Ånderdalen Nationalpark has a back entrance; the Inner Seal Fjord - the only roadless fjord on Senja. In a small group (max. 4) we padle out and picnic among the impressive peaks and beaches.
We set course for the heart of the national park through the dramatic and pristine fjord. Here, very few people come, and you'll discover how our slow pace in the small group brings you alive and connects you with nature, wildlife and company you share the trip with. Puffins, sea eagles, seals, purpoise, reindeer, sheep, moose, otters and numerous other sea birds live in the area, and all of them can be seen from the kayak if we're lucky.

A maximum of four guests and a lovely locally produced lunch and coffee from the Senja Roasters restaurant & coffee roastery sets the scene in the middle of the wild for our picnic on the beach. It also allows us time to try fishing along the way and plenty of breaks to sit back and take it all in.

This trip is personal and modified for every day to our guests and weather forecast to ensure you the better conditions and maintain safety at the highest level.

Be aware that you need to arrive by car to the meeting point.

Minimum age for participation is 14 years old
Wear outdoor clothing as if you were going on a hike and bring dry clothing for later if you get a little wet from splashes.
Meet us at the Senja Roasters Cafe where we have our base. Remember to arrive by car as we then take off with the kayaks on a trailer to Rødsand after we have equipped ourselves.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
