Description
Encounter amazing humpback whales up close and in their natural environment on a 3-hour whale watching cruise on Moreton Island, with light lunch, cocktail and dolphin viewing included!
After checking in at the wharf, you'll travel from Brisbane to Moreton Island on a scenic ferry ride. Enjoy a complimentary beverage either on the boat ride over, or during the return journey. Arrive at beautiful Moreton Island after approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes and spend some time exploring the island at your leisure. Benefit from full access to the pools, cafes, restaurants, bars, and the beach.
At approximately 12:00 PM, depart for your 3-hour whale watching cruise. The vessel is a smooth-sailing comfortable catamaran — the perfect vantage point to spot whales in the water. Enjoy a full commentary that will explain the habitats and behaviors of these amazing creatures. A light lunch will be served on board.
Then, if you choose, you can enjoy the "Discover the World of Dolphins" presentation at 3:15 PM. If not, explore the island before heading to B&Bs bar or Wheelhouse Deck to enjoy a cocktail or mocktail, best paired with a sunset. Then, make your way to the jetty to see the family of wild dolphins as they grace the shores of Tangalooma Island Resort for their nightly feed.
At approximately 7:00 PM, leave the island and travel back to Brisbane, arriving at 8:15 PM.
