The Cairns night sky deserves more than just a look, so this tour brings a professional photographer along to capture your own special moment beneath the stars. After free hotel pickup around 5:30 PM, you head out to a dark-sky location well away from city lights.
Your guide, a professional cameraman, takes 6 or more photos of you under the Milky Way using proper camera gear, while also teaching you how to capture genuinely good star photos on your own smartphone, a skill unique to this tour. Along the way, your guide explains the constellations and stars of the southern night sky, including the Milky Way and Southern Cross. There is also a chance to encounter nocturnal wildlife during the tour, though sightings cannot be guaranteed.
If the weather does not cooperate, free on-the-day cancellation is available. Your professional photos are sent to you after the tour. You are dropped back at your hotel by around 9:30 PM.
