Tashkent: Small Chimgan Mountain Hike with Somsa and Tea

Upon arrival, receive a safety briefing at the base. Begin your ascent with a gentle climb through a wide meadow, which transitions into a more challenging path through dense thickets. In about 30 minutes, reach the saddle connecting Small and Greater Chimgan.

Continue with a demanding climb up a rocky slope with full sun exposure. Stay hydrated with small sips of water. Once you reach the ridge, the final 700 meters to the peak is an easier walk rewarded by a breathtaking panoramic view.

At the summit, enjoy lunch with a stunning backdrop of Lake Charvak and Greater Chimgan Mountain. Take some time to snap photos and soak in the views. After lunch, begin your descent at a comfortable pace. Take care — descending too quickly increases the risk of knee injuries.
