Meet your guide at the Skåla parking area and begin your ascent to the summit. Hike from near sea level all the way up to 1,848 meters, making Skåla Northern Europe’s longest continuous ascent.
Follow a well-marked trail that steadily climbs through forest, rocky terrain, and into the high mountains. Along the way, the landscape opens up with increasingly dramatic views of the surrounding fjords and peaks.
At the summit, take a well-earned break and enjoy a freshly prepared baguette lunch, with several filling options including a vegetarian choice. On a clear day, be rewarded with breathtaking views of fjords, sharp mountain peaks, and the vast Jostedalsbreen glacier.
After lunch, begin your descent back to the starting point.

Participants must be in good health, have no injuries, and be comfortable with long hikes.
A liability waiver must be signed before the tour starts.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
