Enjoy the breathtaking views from our hot air balloon at dawn. Discover the sights and sounds of Ghent awakening and be on the first row for a spectacular sunrise above Unesco Heritage.
You’ll start your day with an optional pick up from your hotel or pick up point. We usually meet 30 minutes before sunrise. The meeting hours are depending of the moment of the season.
Once arrived on the launch site, a safety briefing of your experienced pilot Kenian is waiting for you. With over 900 hours of experience in more then 15 countries, we can promise you’re in save hands.
Once in the air, we'll discover the city of Ghent from above. After a gentle flight of one hour, we celebrate your brave courage with a glass of Champagne and a small pastry breakfast.
We end our activity with returning you safely and with a lot of memories to our launch field or pick up point.

One day before the flight you will receive the flight information by Whatsapp and/or by mail.
If the weather is not suitable for a safe flight, we will cancel the flight due safety reasons.
We will transfer your booking to another flight slot or you will receive a refund.
The entire balloon experience takes around 3-4 hours (depending on flight distance)

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
