The Summer Palace is one of Beijing’s most magnificent imperial gardens and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its stunning landscape, classical architecture, and rich history. Once a royal retreat for the Qing Dynasty emperors and empresses, it combines serene lakes, lush hills, elegant pavilions, and long corridors, making it a must-visit attraction for anyone exploring Beijing.

We offer two ticket options for you to choose:
1. Main Entry Ticket: Grants access to the general park area, including Kunming Lake, Longevity Hill, and most scenic courtyards.

2. Combined Ticket: Includes the main entrance ticket plus admission to all interior paid attractions, such as the Tower of Buddhist Incense, Dehe Garden, Wenchang Gallery, and Suzhou Street.


Admission Policy:
Children under 7 years old or below 120 cm (3.9 feet) enjoy free entry.Seniors aged 60 and above also qualify for complimentary admission. No separate ticket is required. Please present your valid passport to the on-site staff for verification at the entrance.

Opening Hours:
April 1 – October 31:
Park Area: 06:00 – 20:00 (Last entry: 19:00)
Interior Attractions: 08:00 – 18:00 (Last entry: 17:30)

November 1 – March 31:
Park Area: 06:30 – 19:00 (Last entry: 18:00)
Interior Attractions: 08:30 – 17:00 (Last entry: 16:30)
Please note: Interior attractions are closed on Mondays. Please plan your trip accordingly.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
