Day 1 Chongqing-Zhangjiajie
Meet guide at Zhangjiajie Xi station and visit Tianmen mountain known as "Gateway to Heaven".
Located in the Wuling Mountains, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, it stands high on a sheer cliff over 1,260 meters above sea level, and is the world’s highest natural mountain-piercing cave.
Tianmen Cave rises abruptly from the ground and reaches toward the sky, majestic and grand, just like a gateway connecting the earth to heaven.
When sunlight passes through it, a colorful halo appears; when shrouded in mist and clouds, it looks even more like a fairyland. We will help you choose the right cable car route to experience and reach Tianmen Cave. Stay in Zhangjiajie hotel booked on own.
Day 2 Zhangjiajie
Take the Bailong Elevator—the world’s tallest outdoor elevator, boasting a vertical height of 326 meters—and reach the mountaintop in just 65 seconds.The moment you step out of the elevator, you will overlook the spectacular view of thousands of stone pillars piercing through the mist and clouds.
Mihun Terrace: The best viewpoint to take in the full panorama of the peak forest, shrouded in clouds and mist like a fairyland.Qiankun Pillar: The prototype of the Hallelujah Floating Mountain in Avatar, a 350 meter all natural stone pillar.No.1 Bridge Under Heaven: A 350 meter high natural stone bridge, with a deck about 2 meters wide and a span of 50 meters.
Afterwards, you will visit the world’s longest glass bridge and experience its breathtaking thrills and excitement.
After tour we can drop you to your own booked hotel in Zhangjiajie or we drop you to Zhangjiajie airport for your evening flight booked on own to next city.
