Experience & learn about various coffee varieties, including Caturra, Catuai & Geisha, and the processing methods from coffee cherry to coffee bean, with a Coffee Tasting of the famous Geisha coffee!
Our expert guide will share insights about the different coffee varieties you can admire along the trails. In a small group, we will hike among the coffee plants, surrounded by breathtaking views that reach as far as Costa Rica and the ocean on a clear day.
During the tour, our specialised guide will provide you with information about growing coffee, where you will also get to pick and process coffee berries yourself according to the "washed" method using our "depulper," making the tour interactive.
We will conclude with a cupping session (coffee tasting) of Bocas del Mar coffee, where you will go deeper into the roasting process, brewing coffee, and learn to taste coffee professionally. Different taste aspects of the coffee are explained, such as aroma, flavour, body and acidity, using a cuppingsheet.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
