Description

Venture into Guna Yala (San Blas) and discover idyllic islands, crystal-clear waters teeming with marine life, and breathtaking landscapes. Relax at each stop and enjoy a meal prepared on the island.
The transfer to Guna Yala departs from your accommodation in Panama City at around 5:00 a.m. in a 4WD vehicle with capacity for 4 to 6 people. The exact time may vary depending on the location of each passenger. As this is a shared transfer, please wait at the lobby or reception of your accommodation. If you are not there at the agreed-upon time, the driver will wait for a maximum of 10 minutes. Seating is assigned randomly at the time of the trip. The journey to the port takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours and includes a short stop en route (depending on the time available) so that you can purchase breakfast. The journey to Guna Yala has curves and some uneven sections, so we recommend taking precautions if you are sensitive to road movement. In addition, we will make a stop at the viewpoint, from where you can admire the mountains and the Caribbean Sea, as well as photograph the scenery from an elevated vantage point, before arriving at the port of Guna Yala.

Upon arrival at the port, we will wait until all passengers are present; we kindly ask for your patience. We will then begin boarding the boat bound for the stunning San Blas Islands. During the journey, depending on the day's conditions, the boat may experience some movement and the sea may be choppy, which could result in water splashing.

The island itinerary may vary depending on the day's conditions. The first island you will visit may be Perro Grande or Uggub Sibu; the tour can be conducted in either order. On Uggub Sibu Island, you will be served lunch. We will also visit the famous Natural Pool, an ideal spot to take photos, relax, and enjoy the crystal-clear sea. Finally, we will visit Diablo Island.

You can spend between 1 and 1.5 hours on each island. Departure from the last island is usually around 3:00 p.m. or 3:30 p.m., depending on the weather and conditions on the day. Your guide will also let you know how long you can stay at each location, so you can make the most of your experience.

At the end of the day, you will return to the port and then to Panama City, arriving at your accommodation between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The time may vary depending on traffic.

The road to Guna Yala is winding and hilly, passing through a mountainous area before reaching the port, so it is recommended to bring dramamine if you suffer from motion sickness.
The boat ride may be bumpy if the sea is rough, and water may splash during the journey.
Each participant must present their physical passport (for foreigners) or ID card (for Panamanians and residents). Copies, photos, or digital documents (PDF or on a cell phone) will not be admissible.
Pick-up is available only in Panama City (we do not provide pick-up beyond the Bridge of the Americas).
The itinerary to the islands may vary depending on the day's conditions.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
