Description
You will be able to appreciate the mangroves up close, where you will notice the great biodiversity of fauna and flora that can be found here and how it varies depending on the tide. Immerse yourself in nature.
The adventure begins when we pick you up at your hotel in David, where we will then head to the departure area.
We will get into the kayaks and give you a brief introduction to the area and how to use the kayaks.
We will paddle through one of the most biodiverse ecosystems in the world. We will contemplate how the intertwined roots emerge from the water, creating the perfect habitat for a wide variety of birds, mammals, and reptiles. If we are lucky, we will see birds such as toucans, howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, etc.
During the two-and-a-half-hour kayak trip, we will witness the richness of this ecosystem, which is vital for the oceans. The Chiriquí coast is home to the second largest mangrove forest in the country. Its proximity to the Pacific coral reefs also makes it extremely important.
Finally, upon returning to dry land, we will head back to David, where we will drop you off at your hotel.
