The tour begins at our BOOK IBHONI office on Kumalo Street, directly across from the iconic Hector Pieterson Museum. Here, you'll receive an introduction to the day's experience, including insights into local greetings and cultural etiquette. Your guide will provide a traditional welcome drink and set the tone for an authentic day out in Soweto.
We will then stroll through the historic streets, where you’ll encounter vibrant street art, lively music, and engaging conversations with locals. Along the way, we will stop at the famous landmarks like Vilakazi Street, and the former homes of South African icons Sisulu Family, Nelson Mandela, and Desmond Tutu. With every step, you'll discover a deeper connection to Soweto’s rich heritage and community spirit.

1 - Amagwinya(Fat Cakes) if you are doing the morning tour.
2 - Taste local meals before our main lunch meal.

We have two beer stops and your guide will purchase One(1) beer at both stops.

We will meet at one of the most unique coffee shops in Orlando just near Hector Peterson Museum,That is where you will meet your tour guide for a cup of coffee or water and stretches and a quick briefing just before the run

- 3-4 People = R2 000.00
- 5-7 People = R3 500.00
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
