Begin your 3-day SSI Open Water Diver Course in Marsa Alam, designed for beginners. Learn to dive in the Red Sea with Deep South Divers in a small group of no more than 4 students per instructor.
The course is taught in English and German by SSI Instructor Mohamed Mostafa Heikal. It includes SSI digital learning, academic sessions, confined-water shore training, and the required open-water training dives. All scuba equipment, tanks, weights, hotel pickup and drop-off within Marsa Alam, and snacks are included.
No previous diving experience is needed. Guests must be at least 12 years old, complete the SSI medical questionnaire, and meet the required water-fitness evaluation before open-water training. Medical clearance may be required depending on the answers.
After successfully completing all SSI academic, confined-water, open-water, and final assessment requirements, receive your SSI Open Water Diver certification. The certification permits diving with a buddy to a maximum depth of 18 metres.

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
