Description
Discover Berlin beyond the famous sights. I'll show you the history, architecture, and transformation of the city from the perspective of an architect who has lived here since 1995.
Explore Berlin in a different way, joining me on a journey through the history, architecture, and transformation of a unique city.
As an architect and cultural tour guide, I will show you how Berlin has changed through the centuries: from the Prussian era, through the most important moments of the 20th century, the division of the city during the Cold War, and modern Berlin after reunification.
During the tour, you'll get to know Berlin's most iconic landmarks and understand the relationship between architecture, politics, and society. Not only will you see monuments, but you'll discover the stories behind them and how each historical period left its mark on the city.
I'm Jorge Brunetto, an architect (Dipl.-Ing.) and cultural tour guide, and I've been living in Berlin since 1995. Since 2003, I have been conducting guided tours and cultural programs in Spanish and Italian for individual travelers, families, and small groups.
The tours are available in Spanish and Italian, tailored for individual travelers and small groups who want to get to know Berlin in a more personal and in-depth way.
In addition to Berlin, you can also discover with me Potsdam and the Prussian palaces, the most important museums on Museum Island, the Sachsenhausen Memorial, and take an excursion to Wittenberg, the city of the Reformation and Martin Luther.
My professional experience as an architect and my accreditations as a tour guide for the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin and the Stiftung Preußische Schlösser und Gärten allow me to offer a specialized view of Berlin, combining history, culture, and architecture.
This activity is designed for travelers who want to discover Berlin beyond the usual tourist spots and understand the city's identity through its buildings, its stories, and its transformations.
