Description
The fantastic world behind the doors of Hamburg's Kontorhaus buildings in the city center. We will walk from the Nikolai Memorial to the Gänsemarkt.
Speicherstadt, Michel, Elbphilharmonie - Hamburg has a lot of magnificent buildings. But if you want to grasp the true beauty of the trading city, you have to take a look behind the facades of the historic city center. Because Hamburg's leading merchants have put all their love into the interior of their offices. The result are unique cathedrals dedicated to the merchant god Mercury. We visit selected stairwells and take you into the world of 19th century trading houses.
It is a walk through the centuries, sometimes transported to the 1950s, sometimes in the flair of the "Titanic" and all this in the middle of Hamburg's city center.
This tour is especially very interesting for people who are fond of architectural specialties and who like to take photographs of these.
