A little later, we will stand at the Holocaust Memorial, one of the most moving places in Berlin. Your guide will give you a clear insight into the history and significance of this memorial.
From here, we will continue to the beautiful Berlin Tiergarten, the green heart of the city. One of the largest city parks – after which we take a 30-minute break, during which you can refresh yourself with a drink or snack.
Refreshed, we cycle to the Victory Column, one of Berlin's most famous landmarks. The golden Else looks proudly over the city.
Our route takes us past Bellevue Palace, the official residence of the Federal President, which is located directly on the Spree.
We cycle along the Spree riverbank to the government district, past the modern Chancellery with its striking architecture to the historic Reichstag building. Finally, we roll on to the stylish Gendarmenmarkt, considered one of the most beautiful squares in Europe with the German and French Cathedrals and the Concert Hall.
