Description
Enjoy the beautiful nature of Leipzig on a 4-hour paddling tour. In a comfortable kayak, you will traverse Leipzig's vast water network, encountering various watergates, as well as several rivers and lakes.
After entering Stadthafen Leipzig, your tour will lead you through Elstermühlgraben and Elsterflutbett to the racecourse Scheibenholz. From there, it will continue onward to Pleißeflutbett.
Following the watergate Connewitz, you will paddle into Leipziger Auwald, which offers fascinating nature experiences including a beautiful passage of two kilometers along Floßgraben. In addition to the kingfisher (which breeds on the shore), you can marvel at a large amount of fish in the water, from red feathers and tench to carp, pike and catfish. In this clear water you can discover them all.
Following your journey passing the forest lake Lauer, the route leads through the landscape park Cospuden, a project of the Expo 2000, and onward to the watergate Cospuden.
