Along the Mühlenstrang, go through the nature reserve in the Ruhraue.
Head for two highlights of the Route Industriekultur. The former Schwerte-Ost railway repair works and the listed Kreinberg housing estate, which was the works housing estate for railway workers. Return through the Kirschbaumumsiedlung, where the annual cherry blossom and light festival takes place in Graf-Diederich-Straße. Segway over cobblestones into the historic city center of the old Hanseatic city.
