Description
Enjoy a unique excursion with the tranquility and comfort of a private service.
It is accessed leaving from Bariloche towards the northeast, by national route 237. The route crosses the Ñireco stream and the Ñirihuau river. Then, after reaching the headwaters of the Limay River at Lake Nahuel Huapi (limit of the provinces of Río Negro and Neuquén), the route will take you along the shores of this river until you reach its confluence with the Trafúl River. Stops can be made at the Limay River Amphitheater, Villa Llanquin, as well as in the Enchanted Valley, where you can see strange figures outlined by the rock formations.
A few kilometers ahead you arrive at Confluencia and, from there, take Provincial Route 65, a gravel road. You travel along the valley of the Trafúl River, crossing some of its tributaries (the Cuyin Manzano River and the Minero River) until you reach Lake Trafúl, on whose shore lies the town of Villa Trafúl. In this destination you can visit the main dock, walk the streets and / or stop at a coffee shop.
Continuing along the coast of Lake Trafúl to the west, you will reach Puerto Arrayán, the waterfall of the Catarata stream and finally Paso Portezuelo, access portal to the Seven Lakes Road (RN 40). The route continues south. After visiting lakes Correntoso and Espejo, you arrive at Villa La Angostura. There you can visit the commercial center and stop for lunch. The return is through the isthmus of the Quetrihue Peninsula, taking advantage of its unique views and returning to Bariloche by route 40.
