Discover the tallest mountain in the Andean Lake District on a day trip from Bariloche. Visit Cerro Tronador, stop in Pampa Linda, and see the Ventisquero Negro glacier.
Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in Bariloche and travel by comfortable coach toward the impressive Cerro Tronador. Journey across the Pampa de Huenuleo, passing the Melgarejo and Pilmayen streams before arriving at Lake Gutierrez. Enjoy a brief stop where you can take photos and admire the surrounding scenery.
Continue along the shores of Mascardi Lake and across the Manso River. Stop in Pampa Linda, in the shadow of Cerro Tronador, for lunch (own expense).
The journey then continues through the Vuriloches Valley until you reach the Ventisquero Negro Glacier. Follow your guide on a short walk through the woods overlooking this unique dark-colored glacier.
Once the visit is complete, board the coach and return to Bariloche.
