Bariloche in one day !
Get to know the different aspects of this emblematic city. Find out how the residents live and the development of the tourist activity through the years.
We start crossing the different popular neighborhoods, until we reach the eastern shore of Lake Gutierrez.
We continue our tour and arrive at the foot of La Palestra, a place where the first rock climbing techniques were learned and the Gruta de la Virgen de las Nieves, sanctuary of the Patron Saint of the lovers of mountain activities, from here we will start our way to the base of Cerro Catedral, the largest ski center in South America, where we will walk along the foot of the mountain to appreciate the infrastructure of the ski center (only up to the base).
Colonia Suiza is the oldest neighborhood of our city created by Swiss immigrants coming from Chile in the late 1800's, nestled between Cerro Lopez and Lake Moreno, in its main street, its historic houses still remain and during Wednesdays and Sundays the picturesque craft fair is held and you can also learn about the techniques of preparation and tasting of Curanto, traditional Araucanian food.
After lunch, we will continue to the Circuito Chico, where we will be dazzled by its famous dream landscapes, such as the Panoramic Point on Lake Moreno, the natural union of Lake Nahuel Huapi and Lake Moreno in Bahía López, we will go into the municipal forest to appreciate the native species of the Andean Patagonian Forest and discover the Escondido Lake.
Along this road we will arrive at the Llao Llao Hotel, San Eduardo Chapel and Puerto Pañuelo, all of them icons of our city, which will undoubtedly be our favorite postcard of this trip.
To close the day and after having attended a festival of wonderful landscapes and places, we will make the last stop at Cerro Campanario, where we will have the chance to go up by chairlift, (not included in the rate) and discover the most impressive view of the entire region of the lakes, considered one of the best views in the world!
Without a doubt, this is, without a doubt, a MUST-do excursion!!!!!!!
