We depart from the city of Salta heading north on National Route 9, passing through the outskirts of San Salvador de Jujuy to enter the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a World Heritage Site.

The first town we will visit is Purmamarca, a typical village with a colorful market in the central square, adobe houses, the church of Santa Rosa de Lima, and the spectacular Cerro de los Siete Colores (Hill of Seven Colors).

The next town we will visit is Maimará, where we can appreciate the colors of the Paleta del Pintor (Painter's Palette).

In Tilcara, we will take a city tour, and in Huacalera, we will see the monolith with the legend Trópico de Capricornio (Tropic of Capricorn) and its symbol.

In Humahuaca, we will have lunch and see the Monument to the Inca, Heroes of Independence. Finally, we will visit the Serranía del Hornocal (Hill of 14 Colors) where "Mi obra Maestra" was filmed. It is the end of the Cretaceous period when the last dinosaurs lived 75 million years ago.
