Train To The Clouds - Bus/Train/Bus Service - Salta (ARG)

This Service combines two sections: National Route 51, with photo stops at panoramic points of sites "stopped in time" to then embark on the magical experience of the TRAIN TO THE CLOUDS.
We propose a unique and special trip that combines its services in two sections: National Route 51, with photo stops at panoramic points of sites "stopped in time" to then embark on the magical experience of the TRAIN TO THE CLOUDS, which is manifested in everything its splendor upon arrival at the imposing viaduct in the foothills of the Andes.
We not only combine landscapes and sensations, but also stories and experiences, which lead us to relive the epic of railway construction, back in 1920, initiated by the Engineer Richard Fontain Maury, the project's alma mater, as well as discover towns detained in the time in harmonious coexistence with the mountain.
You must be at 06.00 am at the bus station for check in.
The stops to be made during the tour are:
07:35 am: Campo Quijano, 30km from the capital. There you will be able to observe the most emblematic engineering work of Salta: the C-14 railway branch. 08:05 am: Viaducto del Toro, located on the ravine that bears the same name.
09:25 am: El Alfarcito, a place at 2,800 meters above sea level, where the tradition of making local crafts is kept alive. Here you can enjoy a country breakfast and we will tour the craft fair. The Father Chifri Foundation will also be visited, an organization that helps to obtain resources and provides education and training to the inhabitants of the area.
This will be our last stop before reaching San Antonio de los Cobres. 11:40 am: Meeting at the train station and boarding the emblematic Train to the Clouds. At 12 o'clock the train journey begins.
1:00 pm: La Polvorilla Viaduct, the most recognized image of this trip. It is the highest structure of the C-14 railway branch, at more than 4200 meters above sea level. 1:30 p.m.: Start the return to San Antonio de los Cobres, arriving at the station around 2:45 p.m. and where you will have two hours to walk and photograph the place.
