Baku: 2-Day Astara & Sım Village Nature and Hiking Tour

Your journey begins early in the morning with departure from Baku toward the Astara region. After approximately 4–5 hours of scenic driving through changing landscapes, arrive near the remote mountain village of Sım.

As regular vehicles cannot fully access the village, the final 2 kilometers are completed with legendary Soviet-style UAZ off-road vehicles, adding adventure and excitement to the experience.

After arriving at the village guesthouse, enjoy a homemade local lunch prepared with natural village ingredients before taking some time to relax.

In the afternoon, begin your first hiking program through forests and mountain nature. Explore beautiful natural attractions including:

Zərbülün Lake
Hovuz Waterfall
Forest hiking trail to Noğ Cave

After the hike, return to the guesthouse for a traditional village-style dinner and peaceful overnight stay surrounded by nature.

On the second day, wake up to a fresh countryside breakfast prepared with local organic products including honey, cheese, cream, eggs, and traditional dairy products.

The day’s hiking route begins around 10:00 and includes:

In the evening, depart back to Baku with arrival expected around midnight.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
