Description

Embark on a 7-day trekking adventure to Bazarduzu Peak. Explore mountain villages, enjoy breathtaking landscapes, and experience local culture with a professional guide.
Day 1: Arrival in Baku

Arrive at Heydar Aliyev Airport and transfer to your hotel in Baku. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a city tour of Baku. Spend the night at your hotel in Baku.

Day 2: Baku to Griz Village

After breakfast, depart for the Quba region, a 3-hour drive from Baku. After some last-minute shopping in Quba, continue to Griz Dəhna village (1 hour). From there, start your hike along the historic "Eh Way" towards Griz village (4 hours). Upon arrival, settle in guesthouses for the night.

Day 3: Griz to Khinalug Village

After breakfast, set off towards Khinalug village. While passing along the Gudialchay Canyon, see the magnificent Gur-Gur Waterfall. Continue your journey to Qalaxudat village. After resting and having lunch in the village, continue your hike to Khinalug village. Along the way, explore the beauty of nature and visit historical landmarks upon arrival. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Khinalug village.

Day 4: Khinalig to Bazarduzu Camp

After breakfast, set off towards Bazarduzu Mountain by 4x4 vehicles. Your approximately 2-hour journey passes through Shahdag National Park and the State Border Service checkpoint. Along the way, stop at Shahyaylaq Plateau, famous for Azerbaijan's 4000-meter peaks, and enjoy the unique panoramic views.

Continue by vehicle, reaching an altitude of 2,900 meters. From here, with your backpacks (horses carry them), hike for about 2 hours to the camp site at 3,250 meters. Upon arrival, set up your tents and have lunch. In the afternoon, hike up to 3,400 meters. After returning to the camp, make final preparations for the ascent to Bazarduzu Mountain and rest.

Day 5: Bazarduzu Summit

Wake up at 04:00 and begin the ascent to Bazarduzu Summit. Reaching the summit takes approximately 6-7 hours, and the descent to the camp takes 2-3 hours. Upon returning to the camp, pack your tents and head back to Khinalig village. Overnight stay in Khinalig.

Day 6: Baku City Tour

After breakfast, return to Baku. After checking into the hotel, start your city tour. Visit the Old City, Maiden Tower (12th century), Palace of the Shirvanshahs (15th century), Upland Park, Flame Towers, and Baku Boulevard. Spend the night at your hotel in Baku.

Day 7: Departure

Transfer to the airport for your departure.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
