Description

Travel to Hamer ,Dasenach& Karo village body painting & scarification of their bodies and explore Mursi village, whose women like to wear terracotta jewellery on their enormously stretched lower lips.
Day 1: Addis Ababa - Jinka - Turmi

Arrive at Jinka Airport and then drive to Turmi with your Ethiopian guide.
Visit Hamer to witness a traditional dance called Evangadi.
Overnight stay at the hotel or camp in the village.

Day 2: Turmi - Karo - Jinka

Go for an early morning excursion to Omorate and meet the Dasenach tribes by crossing the Omo River on a wooden boat. Or other option-
Set off for a Korocho excursion to visit the Karo. The Karos residing on the bank of the Omo River are celebrated for painting and scarifying their bodies. Return to Turmi for lunch.
Drive to the weekly market at Keyafer Village. Stop here to visit the Thursday or Demaka Saturday weekly markets.
Visit the Banna, Ari, Hamer and Tsemay tribes.
Drive to Jinka.

Day 3: Mursi Village - Fly Back

Head out for an excursion to a Mursi village (approx 66 km from Jinka). The Mursi are one of the original ethnic groups in Ethiopia, and they live in meagre huts made of straw leaves. The women wear terra cotta jewellery on their enormously stretched lower lips and ear lobes, while the men are famous for their hairstyle.
Drive to Jinka Airport and fly back to Addis Ababa.
