Description
Discover Bhutan on a private 5-day wellness, blessing, and cultural journey. Visit sacred sites, receive a Buddhist blessing, enjoy a farmhouse visit, and hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery.
Begin your journey at Paro International Airport, where a licensed Bhutanese guide welcomes you on arrival. From Paro, travel towards Thimphu and the peaceful Yusipang or Hongtsho area, away from the busy town center. This part of the journey introduces you to Bhutan’s quieter rhythm, with forested surroundings, mountain air, and a village atmosphere.
Enjoy a short guided nature walk around Yusipang or Hongtsho. The walk is gentle and suitable for most travelers, offering time to slow down, breathe, and experience Bhutan beyond the usual monument circuit. A simple guided meditation or quiet reflection session will also be arranged, giving you a soft introduction to Bhutan’s contemplative way of life.
Receive a Buddhist blessing for long life and well-being. Your guide will explain the meaning of the blessing, respectful local etiquette, and how Bhutanese families connect spiritual practice with everyday life.
Visit Bhutan’s cultural highlights, including Buddha Dordenma, the National Memorial Chorten, Dochula Pass, Punakha Dzong, Chimi Lhakhang where possible, Kyichu Lhakhang or Paro Rinpung Dzong depending on timing, and Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest.
In Punakha, visit a local farmhouse to learn about rural Bhutanese living, traditional food culture, seasonal ingredients, and family hospitality. Enjoy traditional Bhutanese hot stone bath, a wellness practice using river stones heated by fire and placed into wooden bath water with local herbs.
The route is private and gently paced, with time for tea stops, photos, questions, and meaningful conversation with your guide. It is suitable for couples, solo travelers, families, and mindful travelers who want Bhutan to feel personal, spiritual, local, and restorative.
