Your tour will be unique on this guided visit! Your guide, born and raised in this favela, will share with you the daily life of a resident. You will ascend the favela by cable car to the top of the hill, where you can see Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, Copacabana, Ipanema, the Rocinha favela, Vidigal, and Morro Dois Irmãos! Descending through alleys and narrow streets—the path taken by residents—you will visit the guide's home and his family, his mother who collects watches (more than 380 watches) throughout the house, and on the upper floors, you will visit our social projects. Such as language classes, mosaic workshops, painting classes, our community library, and on the terrace of the house, our gastronomic space known as Lage do Fumaça, where we develop cooking workshops for children and young people from the favela, always valuing local culture and history with social, economic, and cultural inclusion. Here, we will also serve delicious homemade food with vegetarian or vegan options.
