The 'Cholita' exhibition hall showcases their culture, colors, and beauty, while the wrestling show highlights their strength and courage in the ring.
We kick off this activity at the meeting point at 3:30 PM (at Buhos Tours). From there, we'll take a 10-15 minute walk to the cable car stop, heading towards Ciudad del Alto to catch the bus to the Cholita Exhibition Hall. Once we arrive, our guide will welcome us and give us some info about the mural by an artist who valued the work of the 'pollera' women. Inside the exhibition hall, we'll check out the gym where these brave women get in shape. Then, we'll move on to the next room, where you'll see the prototype of the ring, wood-carved art, masks, and a display of the Cholitas' clothing, which gives you a lot of relevant info about them. There's also a small representation of their room. If you want, you can dress up as a Cholitas, as there are clothes like polleras, corsets, blankets, and hats. We recommend you try it out.
After the exhibition tour, we'll head to the ring for the 'cholitas wrestling' show, featuring both men and women. Enjoy the show with some popcorn and a drink. At the end of the show, you'll get to take a photo session with the Cholitas wrestlers. And we'll head back to the city center on our bus around 7:30 PM.

This activity is partly outdoors, with a walk to the nearest cable car from the meeting point. Bring clothes suitable for weather changes, and it's better if they're warm for the night.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
