Travel from La Paz with your guide to Chacaltaya Mountain and take in the magnificent views of Huayna Potosi and Lake Titicaca. Continue to Moon Valley and explore its unique lunar landscape.
Hotel pick up at 8:30 a.m. approximately to go straight to Chacaltaya, this is a mountain with an elevation of 5,300 m.o.s.l. Over 80% of Chacaltaya's glacier melted between 1987 and 2007.
The glacier was one of the highest glaciers in South America.
When arriving to the refuge, have the chance to walk up to the top of the mountain.
Also people will appreciate the wonderful view of Huayna Potosi and Illimani Mountains, Lake Titicaca and some parts of El Alto city.

Walking up and watching all landscapes last for about one hour and half, after that, go down, and get on the car again to leave for the Moon Valley.

Arrival at 1:30 p.m. to Moon Valley. This valley has a particular rock formation which is similar to the moon`s surface. When in there, see different kinds of trees and plants (local of the area), between them is the cactus San Pedro. The tour lasts for about one hour.
Finally, Arrives to your hotel around 4:00 p.m.
