Day 1:
Start your adventure with a morning pickup from San Pedro de Atacama. Ascend 2,000 meters in 45 minutes, crossing the borders of Chile and Bolivia after a hearty breakfast. Stop at the Laguna Blanca and Laguna Verde, surrounded by sacred volcanoes, and capture incredible photos.
Next, visit the Salvador Dali Desert, where surreal landscapes inspire awe and offer excellent photo opportunities. Take a relaxing dip in the Termas de Polques, where you can bathe in warm waters while watching flamingos.
Head to the Geyser del Sol de la Mañana, located at almost 5,000 meters above sea level. Marvel at the fumaroles and eruptions in this otherworldly place. End your day at the Laguna Colorada, home to Andean flamingos, located in the Eduardo Abaroa National Andean Fauna Reserve.
Enjoy dinner and spend the night in a cozy hostel in the remote village of Quetena Chico.
Day 2:
After breakfast, travel north to the Valley of the Rocks. See fascinating formations like the Roca del Camello and the Árbol de Piedra, known for their unusual shapes sculpted by the wind and time.
Next, visit Laguna Catal, where you can explore the quebrada and observe the native Bolivian flora and fauna. Admire the serene landscapes and take photos, then enjoy a delicious lunch.
Day 3:
Depart early for the Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat in the world. Experience the vast white expanse that stretches over 10,000 square kilometers.
Arrive at the Isla Incahuasi to enjoy an unforgettable sunrise among ancient cacti. This elevated point offers panoramic views of the salt flat.
Unleash your creativity with perspective photos using accessories. Visit the salt hotel and the Plaza de las Banderas, and then marvel at the Ojos del Salar, where volcanic bubbles emerge in vibrant tones.
In Colchani, buy unique souvenirs before visiting the Train Cemetery in Uyuni. This eerie and fascinating site shows Bolivia's industrial past.
After lunch at a local restaurant, return to the agency in Uyuni to complete customs procedures and then return to Quetena Chico for another night of rest.
