At New Club Rio, one block from the beach, the Beach Party edition every Tuesday kicks off at 11:00 p.m. with a free open bar until midnight — the most generous of the Latin parties on the Copacabana circuit. In the DJ booth, resident DJs Julio Medina (Venezuela) and Cauê Campean (Brazil) put together a 100% Latin set: reggaeton, cumbia, Brazilian funk, and world music. This is a rare offering in Rio, where most of the nightlife revolves around funk carioca in Portuguese — here you'll find the music you dance to at home.
