Discover the Salar de Uyuni and its surrounding areas in a 2-day tour. Visit the Train Cemetery, the Salt Museum, the imposing Incahuasi Island and the beautiful Altiplanic Lagoons.
Day 1: Adventure in the Uyuni Salt Flat
We start at 10:30 a.m. with a visit to the “Train Cemetery” of Uyuni, a place that revives the railway history of Bolivia. Afterwards, we head to the picturesque “Colchani Village”, known for its salt handicrafts and extraction process. Entering the majestic “Gran Salar de Uyuni”, we explore the “Ojos del Salar” and the “Salt Museum”. You will have time to capture creative photos in this vast salt desert. Later, we head to the “Gran Isla Incahuasi”, where we can see giant cacti and petrified coral formations, before enjoying a beautiful sunset over the salt flat. We spend the night in a salt lodge in Colchani to live the unique experience of the Salar de Uyuni.
Day 2: Discovering the secrets of Uyuni
Breakfast at our lodging and visit to the historic “Pulacayo Village”, where old locomotives are found. We continue to the fascinating “Valley of Rocks”, famous for its volcanic formations, and the charming village of “Tomave”, with its restored colonial church. Then, we head to a “Bofedal” to observe the local fauna and flora, enjoy a delicious lunch and relaxing “Hot Springs”. In the afternoon, we explore two “Lagunas Altiplánicas” with breathtaking views before returning to Uyuni, crossing the quinoa pampas and ending at the “Mirador de Uyuni”. The tour concludes around 6:00 pm, after a day full of exploration and discovery in Uyuni.

Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
