Embark on a 5-day camping safari in Chobe National Park and Savuti. Enjoy game drives, a boat cruise, and a visit to Impalila Island.
Day 1: Arrival & Chobe Riverfront
Begin your adventure with a pickup from Livingstone (Zambia) or Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe). Cross the border into Botswana at Kazungula and transfer to your campsite along the Chobe River.
In the afternoon, embark on a game drive along the Chobe River, famous for its large elephant herds. Return to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Chobe Riverfront Exploration
Start your day with an early morning game drive along the river floodplains. Enjoy a packed breakfast in the bush.
At midday, visit Impalila Island (Namibia side), accessed via boat from Kasane. Explore traditional villages, go birdwatching, and take in panoramic views where four countries meet (Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe).
Return to Chobe for an afternoon boat cruise on the river. Spend the night at the riverfront campsite.
Day 3: Transfer to Savuti
Depart early from the Chobe Riverfront and drive through the park toward Savuti, with game viewing en route. Arrive at the Savuti campsite and set up camp.
In the afternoon, go on a game drive in Savuti Marsh, known for dramatic predator-prey interactions. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the Savuti campsite.
Day 4: Full Day in Savuti
Go on a morning game drive, where lions, hyenas, and elephants are often seen. Enjoy a packed breakfast in the bush.
In the afternoon, explore Savuti’s famous rock paintings and baobab trees. Go on an evening game drive before returning to camp for the night.
Day 5: Departure
Start your day with an early morning game drive in Savuti. Have breakfast at camp before driving back toward Kasane, with wildlife viewing en route. Cross the border and transfer back to Livingstone or Victoria Falls.
