The experience starts when you board a 4x4 vehicle at your accommodation in Barreirinhas. After crossing the bridge over the Preguiças River, we'll follow sandy trails, woods and flooded areas until we reach the famous staircase of Lagoa Bonita, where we'll start climbing approximately 140 steps towards the top of the dunes. From the top, you'll have one of the most impressive panoramic views of the entire Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, with a sea of dunes and lagoons stretching as far as the eye can see.
After taking in the scenery, the group continues walking along the crest of the dunes to the circuit's lagoons, with free time for swimming, photos, and relaxing in crystal-clear waters surrounded by golden dunes. Each stop offers a unique view, perfect for those seeking contact with nature and unforgettable moments.
In the late afternoon, we'll head back to the main point to watch a spectacular sunset, considered one of the most beautiful in the region. The colors reflected in the dunes and lagoons make this moment simply magical. Then, we'll go down the stairs and get back in the 4x4 to return to the city, ending one of the most iconic tours of Lençóis Maranhenses.
