Itinerary Overview:
Baixa (Downtown)
Begin your journey in the Baixa district, Lisbon’s historic downtown. Explore the iconic Restauradores and Rossio Squares, bustling hubs of activity that reflect the city’s history and charm. One food stop will also be made in this area.
Terreiro do Paço (Commerce Square)
From Baixa we will end up in the grand Terreiro do Paço (Commerce Square), the heart of Lisbon’s waterfront. Return towards the castle not before making one more food stop.
Alfama and Castle Area
Next, head to the Castle Quarter, and also Alfama, the city’s oldest areas, known for its narrow streets and Moorish influences. Optionally visit the Castle of São Jorge and enjoy panoramic views from the Portas do Sol, offering some of the best vistas over Lisbon, and see the Lisbon's cathedral.
Chiado
After passing again by the Rossio square for one more food stop, proceed to the lively Chiado district, where you can enjoy views of the castle from across the city. This area is known for its vibrant atmosphere, historical buildings, and thriving café culture. There will be a couple of stops here, directly connected to the coffee and dessert culture.
We will end the tour in the same place where we started or in nearby location if you prefer.
