This is NOT a typical tour of the Favela Santa Marta.
It's an unforgettable experience to understand what no one usually explains to you, from the inside; seeing reality itself... without filters, which will give you a much more complete and real vision.

We'll climb to the very top, where the city unfolds before you with a direct view of Christ the Redeemer for some Instagram photos… but the important thing isn't the photo. What's important is everything that happens before and after.

You will walk through streets full of history, understand how life in the community has changed, and see a reality that is often judged from the outside.

We will enter two different worlds within the same place: an old house, built with what was available, and a modern house, reflecting all that has evolved.

You're going to live with real people. You're not here to observe... you're here to connect.

If the moment arises, we play soccer with children from the community, share laughter, and you understand something that cannot be explained: the true meaning of community.
We'll pass by the Michael Jackson statue, but even that spot has a story that goes far beyond tourism. You will experience an authentic Samba performance with locals at the Statue Point, where you can take amazing photos.

We'll meet at Praça Corumbá in Botafogo. That's the meeting point at the base of the Santa Marta favela. When you arrive, head to the information area right at the foot of the favela. We'll be waiting for you there.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
