You can see some of the most fascinating historical sites including the Convent and Church of Carmo, emblematic theaters, charming old bookshops, and major international brands.
Cais do Sodré was once a sordid quarter where brothels sidled up to sweaty clubs but suddenly it became the most vibrant neighborhood in town. It is now home to live music, burlesque shows, and great tapas bars and restaurants. Climb the hill to reach Príncipe Real, which is an area known for its antique style, glamour, and its beautiful Garden.
Arrive at Belém and discover the Golden Area. Here everything is magnanimous, historical, and sacred. It was from here that many of the great Portuguese explorers embarked on their dangerous and ambitious voyages. Here, you may get off the eco tuk-tuk to visit the Belém Tower, the Jerónimos Monastery, and the Monument to the Discoveries.
