Day 1:
At 8 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel and transported to the Port of Ceasa, where you’ll board a boat to see the magnificent confluence of the waters at the junction of the Rio Negro and The Amazon rivers. From there, you will be taken to the small floating village of Catalao, where you will see up close the giant-scaled Pirarucu (Arapaima Gigas). You’ll have the chance to see and feed this giant fish of the Amazon. The trip will continue for 1.5 hours by car on the highway to Ubim Lake. Continue by speed boat on a 30 to 50-minute ride (depending on the level of the waters during the time of year of your visit). Arriving at the lodge, you will be welcomed with refreshments as your accommodation is prepared.

At noon, lunch is served. Afterward, there is a little time to relax and to prepare things for the activities of this first day. At 2:30 PM the group will depart in a motorized canoe for piranha fishing, bird watching, and a wonderful sunset from the middle of the river. Back at the lodge, dinner will be served at 7 PM. After dinner, depart again by motorized canoe, this time to spot Cayman. Your guide, using only his bare hands, will capture a Cayman and explain this most-feared animal of the Amazonian rivers. There will be opportunities to get great photos of this beautiful creature.

Day 2:
Between 5:30 AM - 6:30 AM, board a small canoe to witness nature waking up with the first rays of the sun. Marvel as the silence is slowly broken by the songbirds and creatures that call this area home. At 7 AM breakfast is served at the lodge. From 8 AM - 11:30 AM, embark on a jungle trek as your guide explains about the flora, fauna, and medicinal plants found only in the Amazon. There is also a chance to observe spiders and other animals. At noon, head back to the Lodge for lunch.

If you choose the 2-day trip, in the afternoon it will then be time to head back to your accommodation in Manaus. For longer trips, at 2:30 PM the group will depart to visit an indigenous community where you will attend an indigenous ritual celebration of dancing and singing. This is a great opportunity for photos and videos! Next, the group will visit the Vazea area of the Ariau River which is a great place to spot some wildlife including monkeys and birds. Afterward, return to the lodge arriving at 5:45 PM. Dinner is served at 7 PM. After dinner, the group will leave by motorboat for a night safari with a spotlight along the river banks looking for nocturnal creatures.

Day 3:
After breakfast, between 8 AM and 11 AM, explore local streams via kayak. Afterward, you’ll have the opportunity to not only see but swim with the dolphins, the wonderful and legendary mammals of the Amazonian rivers. This is also a fantastic opportunity to get once-in-a-lifetime photos and video. After your swim, head back to the lodge for a midday meal.

If you have chosen the 3-day option, at 2:30 PM begin your journey back to Manaus with arrival scheduled at 4:30 PM. Your tour will conclude at your hotel or the airport. For longer tours, get prepared to camp for a night in the forest where you will sleep in hammocks with mosquito nets. Camping will give you a chance to show off your cooking skills as the food will be prepared by guests as well as guides. Learn some local legends and survival techniques such as finding water and food at dusk.

Day 4:
After breakfast in the forest, have a trek around the campsite. If you have chosen the 4-day option, return to the lodge by 11 AM and at 2 PM begin your journey back to Manaus.
